What is Pica Pica?
Pica Pica is a brand new website and magazine, celebrating the new wave of craft in the UK. We’ll be bringing you insightful articles, beautiful handmade products, crafty city guides, great projects, and interviews with amazing makers!

Pica Pica wants to inspire everyone to get creative – so get out your knitting needles, sewing machines, pens, pencils and scissors and join in!

Who is Pica Pica?
Pica Pica is run by a small group of MA Publishing students at LCC.

A major part of our course requires us to manage a publishing project, and with the groups’ love of all things independent and handmade, we thought what better way to do this than establish a new magazine and website that everyone crafty can enjoy!

Why Pica Pica?
Pica Pica is the Latin name for magpie, and just like magpies, we know all crafty types can’t help themselves when it comes to pretty things!
